Braves Collection: Ozzie Virgil

1989 Donruss #145 Ozzie was just a guy. A solid veteran, but totally unremarkable. At least he was better than the guys before and after. He followed the washed up Rick Cerone and proceeded the washed up Jody Davis. In 1987, he somehow hit 27 dingers and drive in 72 runs despite a .247 batting average. I'm not sure who he was driving in because that was a very, very bad baseball team. Maybe he was driving in Murphy who had his last great year in the majors in 1987.
I wonder if this will be the last time I ever think of Ozzie Virgil?
