I disagree [nothing personal :)]. He signed a contract with the organization under certain terms - namely, manage for a year with a club option for next year. He decided to not live up to that contract. If he had a problem with the contract, then he shouldn't have signed it. Business/employment relationships don't have a separate set of rules just because Jim Riggleman was majaor league manager.
He walked out on his team - since Washington accepted it, he has a right to do that, but I won't applaud him for it. I've seen alot of folks say say he's not a quitter - that's the same as saying Jim Tressell isn't a liar.
